Controller. Book Me is responsible for platform account data. Privacy questions and requests can be submitted through Help & Contact. The relevant business is separately responsible for data it needs to perform a booked service.
Data and purposes. We process account and contact details, profile content, bookings, messages, reviews, payment references, device/security information and consent records to create accounts, perform bookings, process payments, provide support, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations and—with permission—send offers.
Legal grounds. Processing is based on performance of the user agreement, legal obligations, legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, and consent where required. Marketing consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Sharing and retention. Data is shared only as needed with the booked business and vetted providers supporting hosting, communications, analytics and payments, or when required by law. Data is retained while the account is active and afterwards only as long as necessary for claims, accounting, security and legal duties.
Your choices. Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, withdraw consent and complain to their data-protection authority. Account details can be edited or deleted in Profile.
This concise notice is intended for the current prototype.
